The CF-15-N was originally designed for military use. Heavy requirements such as resistance to water, dust, light abrasion and the every day life of the military was an important concern. Also the ease of setup and use for people from field personnel to high ranking individuals needed to be taken into consideration.
Neuro Logic came up with a 15"Chassis LCD featuring the top of the line LCD from Fujitsu mounted in a ruggedized metal enclosure with 3mm heat-treated protective glass and TEMPEST L-I complaint. Since the surface of all sides needed to be as flat as possible, the rear fold-out stand and the carrying handle was recessed. The fold-out stand also features a pass-thru for video and power cables.
