NLS’s RF-27 was initially designed for the J-STARS aircraft but is also an excellent choice for use in console applications in ships, submarines and land-based ground control shelters. The RF-27’s energy efficient 2560x1440 LED backlit 27” LCD delivers bright and crisp graphics at 50% of the power required for a comparable display using conventional, less rugged CCFL backlighting. The RF-27’s sophisticated LED backlight control system provides full-range, 1000:1 dimming down to zero nits. Backlight options for sunlight readability and/or MIL-3009 NVG compatibility are also available. The RF-27 features a unique bonded optical stack providing the highest optical performance under all deployment conditions.
With its fast response time (<16msec) the RF-27 delivers full motion video images in amazing clarity and accuracy. The 178 deg viewing angle and 1000:1 contrast provides optimum viewing comfort over a wide range of operator ergonomic positions. The RF-27 features a front panel USB feed thru providing convenient computer access.
NLS’s RF-27 rugged computer display is fully MIL-qualified and certified for shock, vibration, temperature, altitude and EMI/EMC so it is well suited for the harsh environmental conditions in aircraft, ships and mobile ground control shelters.
